Many are calling him "the voice" of country music on the Washington DC music scene these days and for good reason.  Picture listening to someone with Waylon Jennings power and range, Johnny Cash's attitude, and a George Jones like softness to deliver a heartfelt ballad that will surely get the eye faucets running.  It's real folks, and he delivers the goods with great passion.  He is engaging, polite, and commands a great presence on stage with an often tongue in cheek sense of humor. 
     

Twangin' thru a telecaster guitar is nothing new to this area, it is home to some of the best pickers in the country.  Ty and the band are no exception as they walk you through all the classics with ease, energy, and give many tips of the hat to the great legends along the way.  Self penned tunes like "Toll Booth Betty", a campy trucker tune about an old blue haired toll keeper who smiles, gives change, and bakes cookies for the state troopers, is a witty fun ride.  The championing of the blue collar worker and not judging a book by it's cover is represented in "Good Time Jerry", written about a patron of the local home town bar who "cuts some rug 'til 2", and enjoys his beer after a hard day of plugging tires.

Look out Washington DC, it appears that the "Telecaster" town has added a new member to an elite club.  Are you ready for the Country?"
